Mini Maker Faire and New Maker Space Sneak Preview!

The date for the 3rd Annual Cedar Rapids Mini Maker Faire has been announced for April 19, 2014! Come to the kick-off event for the faire to learn more about plans for the 2014 event and to find out how you can register as a maker/exhibitor. This will be a great opportunity to see the new    Center/location of the faire and also get a sneak peak of the maker space that is in process of being developed at the  Center. Enjoy maker demonstrations, music, food and fun on October 25th from 4-6pm at the Science Center, 5824 Council St NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52403.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Maker Faire. It was a great day. We appreciated all the exhibitors and the time and effort they put into their demonstrations. We could not have had the faire without our sponsors Go Daddy, Rockwell Collins, NECA and IBEW.
